I've been told that I'm behind on my blogging so here's some pics of what we've been up to lately. Obviously 4th of July has come and gone but we had a great weekend with lots of food, fun and family time. We spent the 4th in our neighborhood and we have made it a tradition to spend with The Ball's. We BBQ'd some delicious food and walked down to the fireworks. I was a little concerned on how Leyla would do. She's at the age where she'd either freak out with the noise or love it. Well, apparently she's the opposite of her brother in every way, because during the fireworks she was jumping up and down on my lap and running around like a crazy lady.
Drew also started summer school on Monday. He loves it and the theme is Outrigger Island. They have water days every Monday and they cook every Wednesday. I just love it and Drew has so much fun being in summer school with his two best buddies, Avery and Sean. I'm sure Leyla loves having some special mommy time too.
